Who are we?

We offer a unique practical training course to enable accountants (both qualified and students) to excel in the modern workplace. MBA and BCom students are also welcome. The training program is geared towards UK Accountancy experience as the sponsoring firm is a UK firm with data processing offices in Islamabad.

Overview of Course

The complete practical course lasts 6 months and is split into 6 Modules. Each Module lasts approximately 1 month and involves seminars and work experience.   

The complete course has been designed by the Principal Mr Shabir BSc FCA CTA.  

The Principal

Mr Shabir resides in the UK and has over 20 years business experience running his own Chartered Accountancy Firm in Birmingham, UK. After graduating from Aston Business School he commenced accountancy training with Deloitte (formerley Arthur Andersen) and went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, specialising in Audit and VAT. In 2005, after 10 successful years he obtained his Fellowship of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is still amongst only a handful of UK Pakistani's who hold dual membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales as well as The Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Mr Shabir's UK Firm, Mayfield Chartered Accountants is an ICAEW Approved Training Employer as well as a Platinum grade ACCA Approved Training Employer.
